Altacet Żel – Fast-Acting Cooling Gel for Bruises, Swelling & Joint Injuries

Altacet Żel is a trusted, fast-acting topical gel containing Aluminium Acetotartrate 10mg/g, widely used across Poland and Central Europe for rapid relief from bruises, sprains, joint swelling, and sports injuries. Altacet has anti-inflammatory, astringent, anti-swelling, cooling, slightly disinfecting, and pain-relieving properties.

Enhanced with menthol for an immediate cooling sensation on application.

What Altacet Żel Is Used For

• Bruises and contusions
• Joint swelling and post-traumatic oedema
• Sports injuries — sprains, strains, muscle injuries
• Knee and shoulder injuries
• Minor first-degree burns and swelling

How It Works

• Aluminium acetotartrate — astringent and anti-inflammatory, reduces swelling by coagulating proteins on the tissue surface and relieving sensory nerve pain
• Menthol — provides immediate cooling sensation, reduces skin nerve sensitivity, and causes local vasodilation to aid recovery
• Ethanol and acetic acid — contribute to the cooling effect through evaporation and create an acidic environment unfavourable to pathogenic bacteria

Active Ingredient Per gram

• Aluminium acetotartrate (Aluminium acetotartras): 10mg

How to Use

Apply to clean, dry skin over the affected area 3–4 times daily, at intervals of several hours. Best applied as a compress — soak a gauze or cloth in the gel and apply to the affected area. Wash hands after use unless treating hands. For adults and children aged 3 and over.
