Ziołowa Tradycja Syrop Z Cebuli - 125g

Indications: auxiliary in inflammation of the respiratory tract with cough and thick discharge.

Action: expectorant.

Dosage: oral administration. The packaging comes with a measuring cup. Adults: 15ml of syrup 3-4 times a day. Children over 6 years old: 5ml of syrup 3 times a day. During treatment, an increased amount of fluids should be taken.

Ingredients: 100g of syrup contains: active substances: liquid extract of pine shoots (Pini turiones extractum fluidum) 1:4 6,60g, extractant: ethanol 85% v/v, tincture of fennel fruit (Foeniculi tinctura) 3:7,4-7,8 1g, extractant: ethanol 70% v/v, calcium lactate (Calci lactas pentahydricus) 1g, excipients: sucrose, phosphoric acid 85%, purified water.

Contraindications: sensitisation to any of the components of the drug or to other plants from the celery family (Apiaceae). Do not use in bronchial asthma, acute respiratory failure and in people with liver disease.

Warnings and precautions: the medicine contains 9.1% v/v ethanol. The dose for children from 6 years (5ml) contains up to 0.4g of ethanol, which is equivalent to 9.1ml of beer and 3.8ml of wine. The adult dose (15ml) contains up to 1.2g of ethanol, which is equivalent to 27.3ml of beer and 11.4ml of wine. The drug is harmful to people with an alcoholic disease. The presence of ethanol should be considered when used in children and people at high risk, such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy, as well as in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Patients with rare hereditary disorders associated with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency should not take the drug due to the presence of sucrose as an excipient. 5ml of syrup contains 3g of sucrose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: the preparation should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding (due to the lack of data and alcohol content).
