The Tretussin MED medical device is blackcurrant-flavoured lozenges that soothe irritation of the pharyngeal mucosa and protect it against microbes.

Composition

Icelandic lichen mycelium extract (Cetraria islandica), marshmallow root extract (Althaea officinalis), ivy leaf extract (Hedera helix).

There are 24 lozenges in the package.

Action

Thanks to the content of Icelandic lichen extract, the product creates a protective layer on the surface of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat, which will moisturise it and support its regeneration. The lozenges also relieve irritation of the mucous membrane, relieving pain and inflammation. In addition, the product reduces the adhesion of microorganisms to the mucous membrane, thus reducing the risk of infection.

Purpose of the product

The product is intended for adults, teenagers and children over 4 years of age.

Indications

Tretussin Med can be used for cough, throat irritation and hoarseness.

Use of the product

Children over 4 years of age who can safely suck the pill are recommended to be given 2 pills a day. Children between 7 and 12 years of age should be given 3 tablets a day. Adolescents and adults can take a maximum of 6 pills per day.

Contraindications and precautions

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product.

Keep out of the reach of children.

In the case of severe inflammation of the throat or sore throat accompanied by high body temperature, headache, nausea and vomiting or other symptoms that last more than 2 days, you should contact a doctor.

Use of the product with food and drink

Do not eat or drink fluids for at least 30 minutes after taking the tablet.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use this medical device.

Use in children and adolescents
