Proktosanol by Starpharma is a homeopathic antihaemorrhoidal ointment combining three powerful plant-based active substances — Witch Hazel (Hamamelis virginiana), Aloe, and Peony (Paeonia officinalis) — in a soothing, easily absorbed base. Designed for the treatment of internal and external haemorrhoids with symptoms of burning and pain, healing of haemorrhoidal fissures, and supportive treatment of vulval itching.

• Paeonia officinalis D3 (Peony): 2.0g — anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic; relieves pain and discomfort

Full Ingredients

Hamamelis Virginiana TM, Aloe D3, Paeonia Officinalis D3. Excipients: sodium hydroxide, ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, glycerol, white petrolatum, liquid paraffin, polysorbate 60, glycerol monostearate, cetostearyl alcohol, purified water, imidazolidinyl urea, benzoic acid.

How to Use

Unless directed otherwise by a doctor, apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected area. Use 1–2 times daily, or more frequently if necessary. For children, use only on the explicit advice of a doctor.

Do not use if allergic to any active substance or excipient. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use in children without medical advice. If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days, consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
