The Angina Test - Strep A is a home, rapid, one-step test for the qualitative detection of Group A Streptococci in throat swab samples.

The Angina Test - Strep A is designed to detect Group A Streptococcal antigen at a concentration of 1.5×105 CFU/test or higher.

Group A Streptococci are one of the most important human pathogens that cause acute pharyngitis, tonsillitis, ringworm and scarlet fever. Early diagnosis and treatment of pharyngitis caused by Group A Streptococci will limit the severity of symptoms and further complications.
