Dicopeg Junior Free indications:

It is a medical device in the form of a powder for preparing an oral solution, recommended for the treatment of chronic constipation in children. It can also be used in occasional cases of irregular bowel function. The preparation softens the stool, making it easier to defecate, without causing cramps, abdominal pain or sudden urgency. Intended for babies from 6 months of age and children.

Features:

Dicopeg Junior Free is characterized by an osmotic laxative effect, which naturally regulates intestinal function. The preparation is not absorbed and does not undergo fermentation in the intestines. It does not irritate the intestinal mucosa and is excreted unchanged in the feces. Due to its hydrophilic properties, Dicopeg Junior Free effectively softens the stool, making defecation much easier. Importantly, it does not cause cramps, abdominal pain or sudden urgency. Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.

Composition:

Each sachet contains 5 g of macrogol 3350

Dosage:

Dicopeg Junior Free should be used in children according to the following rules, unless your doctor advises otherwise:
- from 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg): 1-2 sachets a day
- from 2 to 11 years of age (from 12 kg to 20 kg): 2-4 sachets a day
- over 11 years of age (or > 20 kg): 2-6 sachets a day

The dose may be increased or decreased accordingly depending on the patient's individual response to the preparation.
The correct daily dose should be determined based on the child's weight and degree of constipation.
In any case, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
The maximum necessary daily dose usually does not exceed 30 g of the product per day (6 sachets).

A method of preparing:
Dissolve the sachet (5 g) in approximately 62.5 ml of water or other liquid such as tea, milk, herbal infusions, broth or fruit juices.
The daily dose can be taken in several administrations.
You can dissolve all sachets intended for a given day in an appropriate amount of liquid and place the solution in a closed container in the refrigerator for a period not longer than 24 hours.
It is recommended to take Dicopeg Junior Free at long intervals after meals.
